Cross Street has a reputation for providing excellent music. Whether it is the creative and technical prowess of our worship musicians, the enthusiasm of our choir, or the professionalism of our recitals, you are certain be uplifted spiritually by our music.

Friday Recitals

Cross Street Chapel has hosted a Friday Lunchtime Recital for over 20 years! On the last Friday of each month (except for August and December), we welcome a musician to come and perform from 1-2pm. The recitals are free to attend, though donations for the musician are welcomed. We have a high calibre of performers who play for us regularly, from acclaimed amateurs to up-and-coming students to established professionals!

Please note that due to the Coronavirus outbreak, we are currently not hosting recitals. Please write to Catherine at music@crossstchapel.org.uk for more information.

Roundelay Choir

Cross Street Chapel’s Roundelay Choir has been performing for church services and beyond for more than a decade! The group, made up primarily but not exclusively of church members, regularly contribute to special services, such as our Christmas “Readings and Carols” service. We occasionaly perform at outside events, and are keen to welcome new members.

Please note that presently the choir is not meeting. Please write to Catherine at music@crossstchapel.org.uk for more information.

Music in Worship

Cross Street is blessed to have two fantastic musicians, Aaron Breeze and Anthony Dawson, who contribute reflective and inspiring music each week. Do check out their bios, and come along (or listen in) to hear them play in our services!
