Every year Cross Street holds a “Flower Communion” a Unitarian service that has its origins in Prague a century ago. The ceremony draws upon the imagery of flowers as objects of beauty and uniqueness, and their collective power to move and inspire.

The ceremony is simple: each person brings a cut flower, which joins all others into a bouquet. Each flower symbolises the gifts we bring to our communities. Following the service, everyone is given a different flower to take away, representing what we receive from life.

We hope you can join us for this year’s service, which is the 28 May 2023 at 10:45. To save your space, book via Eventbrite.
