We are blessed that Manchester comes alive in the late autumn with the Christmas Market; soon every evening the streets will be filled with merriment and laughter.
Cross Street joins in the enjoyment and warmth with several annual events:
- Our lunchtime recital on Friday November 27 at 1 PM will be Anthems For Advent, featuring the Roundelay Choir, Soloists on many instruments, and theatrical shows. Our recitals are free with drinks afterwards!
- Sunday November 29th at 10:45 is our Advent and Toy Service. Food and Toys are collected for Wood Street Mission.
- Our Carol and Readings Services are on Wednesday December 16th at 6 (with drinks at 5) and Sunday December 20th at 5 (drinks at 4)
Remember this time of year is not joy and merriment for all; please be loving and considerate to the homeless, to those battling with grief and depression. From Waldemar Hille: “Love is the highest gift of life” – so let us share our love this holiday season.
